Titus 3:1-7 gives us an overview of some basic/foundational things. We come from a broken world and experience brokenness. We have a God who in His mercy saves us from our unbelief. Once we experience salvation the Holy Spirit leads us to do good things God has for us to do. It helps us to be reminded of where we came from and to renew ourselves with these truths as we practice at being better at obedience, peacefulness, consideration and gentleness.
